FLD 086: Why You’re Not Fueling Properly For Activity
On this week’s episode of The Fitness Lying Down podcast, Megan the Trainer RD chats with a former Viterbo classmate Lara Boyum! They talk about her experience working with athletes, the common mistakes when it comes to fueling for activity, and mindset shifts needed based on goals.
After graduating in 2021, she has been working with the athletes at The University of Mississippi while completing her Masters in Food and Nutrition Services and has experience working in the university clinic, instructing an undergraduate nutrition class, and conducting research and building resources for the Ole Miss ROTC program. This fall she will begin her PhD in nutrition while working as a doctoral research assistant and dietitian for the ROTC program. Her areas of interests are in tactical athletes, disordered eating, and research. A great, high energy episode for you this week!
